What do we capture?

Micro
and nanoplastics

Originating from packaging, tyres and textiles, micro- and nanoplastics now contaminate all types of water, from rivers and oceans to drinking water. Their microscopic size makes them extremely difficult to detect, concentrate and analyse.


Heavy metals and metallic nanoparticles

Heavy metals and metallic nanoparticles are contaminants generated by industrial, mining and electronic activities. Their nanoscale size allows them to remain suspended in water and pass through many conventional filtration systems.

Our story

2024: The journey begins with Octo’Pousse

After winning IFREMER’s innovation competition, an 18-month research program begins.

A biomimetic technology emerges to capture and concentrate invisible pollutants.

2025: Technology maturation

Initial research confirms the technology’s potential in complex aquatic environments, leading to our patented proof of concept.

Our goal becomes clear: make analysis more sensitive, simpler and more accessible.

2026: NEONAYA becomes a company

NEONAYA Biotechnologies is founded and sets up its operations in Montpellier.

Our first funding and the establishment of our own laboratory enable us to develop our first product range.
